MyFunRun uses a simple and easy donation model. Donors "sponsor" or "donate to" participants on a flat rate basis. We do not use a "per lap" or "per mile" model. This simplified model eliminates the need for confusing pledging and the need for several rounds of distasteful collections. It also reduces the amount of delinquent donations (donations that never get collected). Finally, the MyFunRun model of donations to participants reduces the amount of work required for collecting donations, and makes managing your Fun Run much easier. This is the model that most charities use these days.
