SQMS PTO is excited to announce our annual
Color Fun Run
 Friday, March 15th, 2024
8:30 – 12:30 p.m

Hosted by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), this is our main fundraiser for Summit-Questa Montessori School's PTO and we are grateful for your continued support.

This fundraiser will help promote physical fitness and encourage school spirit while raising money for the PTO.

Each year the Color Fun Run provides funds for many fun, extra-curricular activities the PTO organizes throughout the school year, including:

• Family Art Night
• Teacher and Staff Appreciation events
• Teacher gifts and Parent events
• Meet the Parents night
• Trunk or Treat
• Barnes and Noble night
• Holiday Entertainment for students
• Gift cards for Bridging Ceremonies
  

In the past years, we’ve also dedicated funds to the:

• Establishment and expansion of our sports program
• Enhancement of campus grounds
• Assist with purchase of a new bus
• Technology and Fine Arts Department
• Improvements Purchasing and distribution of items from Teacher Wish Lists
• Improvement of the school’s audio equipment and system
• Ice cream socials/Shaved Ice
  
• Grant proposals from teachers and students
• Expansion of Journalism Program Equipment

During the run, the students will run laps while wearing the official 2024 Color Fun Run shirts given to all SQMS members, participate in exercise challenges, dance, skip, and keep moving to the music provided by our DJ and awesome MC!

We are asking each student to raise a minimum of $75 in pledges from family, friends, neighbors and community members, in exchange for their promise to keep moving during their time on the track! All students will participate regardless of whether they raise money.

The best part is, we will have parent volunteers dousing them with color throughout the event!

Students and classrooms that reach their goal will have the opportunity to take part in classroom and/or school prizes.

100% of all cash & checks donated goes to SQMS PTO. 90% of all online donations, minus a 3% service fee, goes to SQMS PTO. All donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated!

Pledging begins on February 1, 2024 and runs through March 14, 2024.
