The Fort Bend Boys Choir of Texas
is happy to announce another year of hunting the elusive Bigfoot, the ultimate social distance-sing champ! On October 25, 2025, we will be combining health, fundraising, and fun as our choirboys walk, run, jog, hop, skip, or jump to raise money in support of our music program operations.

Proceeds will help boys in need of scholarship assistance as well as the organization's continued financial recovery from the pandemic. Join us in upholding our mission of “making a difference … one boy at a time.” Your support ensures talented young boys have the opportunity to sing and practice their craft as well as build confidence and self-esteem.

Is Bigfoot in your neighborhood these days? Participate in our 5k challenge, meeting at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, and try to find this Social Distan-sing Champ! And if you cannot make it in person, you can still participate in several ways:

1. Do the 5k on your own … If you are the family or friend of a choirboy and cannot make the event, you can still register to participate, receive an event t-shirt, and do the 5k on your own! Register here!

2. Make a General Donation … this is a good option if you don’t know any of the choirboys but still want to support the Fort Bend Boys Choir.

3. Donate Directly to a Choirboy … support your favorite choirboy and his efforts.

4. Family and Friends of Choirboys … You can register to participate too and receive an event t-shirt! Register here!

As you can see, there are great options to support the Fort Bend Boys Choir’s efforts. You can complete a 5k on your own by lacing up your sneakers and taking to the streets of your neighborhood, your local hiking paths, or even nearby biking trails. You can stay indoors and power up your treadmill or elliptical (although you won’t find Bigfoot that way)! You can walk, run, jog, hop, skip, jump, skate, bike, or whatever physical activity you choose – as long as you complete your 5k.
