The Weller Wild Cats Dash Fun Run will raise money through sponsored pledges and donations. In other words, the students are actively earning money for their school while having fun! These funds will be used to support PTO initiatives and student/staff resources. Additionally, we will be giving a donation to a community partner. The Steuart Weller Elementary PTA is organizing and hosting this fundraiser. We are not hiring an outside company to come to our school and run this event.

Each child will have a unique web page for fundraising. Anyone donating may do so via cash, check or credit cards. We prefer checks to avoid a processing fee, but credit cards are still welcome. There is an option online to pay by credit card and also a way to pledge via cash/check. To ensure your student receives credit for a cash/check donation, just look towards the Resources button under your student's name in their individual page and click on it.  Then click on "Enter an Offline Donation." Don't forget to send the money in with your child or drop in the office by May 8th.

Simply send a check or cash with your student! You can also drop it in the front office with a note including your student's name and teacher or mail to the attention of the PTO. We will enter the donation onto his/her page once we have received it. Please make checks payable to SWES PTO.

Absolutely! However, remember that even a small donation can make a difference!

The PTO is asking all student to please wear their SWES Weller Wild Cats Dash T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.

The race will take place along the perimeter of the Steuart Weller Elementary School. All grades will run during the school morning. There will be music and a race director who will lead the event. Students will begin with stretches before the race and also have time to cheer on other classes in their grade level.  All grades will run concurrently and, be based on time, not the number of laps run.  Volunteers and Coach Beck, acting as race director, will lead the event.  Water will be provided during the run.

In addition to assisting your children with collecting donations during the fundraising period, you can sign up to help the PTA prepare and host this fun event. There are volunteer opportunities that include event preparation, school spirit motivation and race day activities. Keep an eye out for an email or check our website at myfunrun.com/wellerwildcatdash for a link to the SignUp Genius. Of course, we invite all parents to cheer on the kids on race day.

Absolutely! Family members are invited to cheer on the kids on race day. The fun run is taking place along the perimeter of the Steuart Weller Elementary School.  Parents are asked to stand in a designated area while students run the perimeter. There will be multiple race times, please check the schedule for the race time of your child.

 We appreciate any pledge you can give! No amount is too small! You can pledge online or send cash/check to the school!

No! All pledges will be flat donations to the student.  Pledges will not be based on the number of laps your student runs.
